About the Author

Francis R. Nicosia is professor of History at Saint Michael's College in Vermont where he teaches courses on modern German and European history and the Holocaust. He is the author of The Third Reich and the Palestine Question, and co-author of The Columbia Guide to the Holocaust. Jonathan Huener is assistant professor of History at the University of Vermont where he teaches courses on the Holocaust, German history, and Polish history. He is the author of the forthcoming book German Deeds, Polish Soil, Jewish Shoah: Auschwitz Memory and the Politics of Commemoration.
