I find the Pockets of Learning toys to be fun, educational, andwonderful to tote around. I found no problem with the fact that there were no instructions. Even my two year old daughter understood it as soon as she looked at it! After all, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you open the castle up and use the pieces to play inside and outside of it! This is not some sophisticated electronic toy with small parts to build, people. It's a cloth castle, already put together for you. Anyway, in summary, it's an adorable toy and lots of fun.

We received this castle set as a gift several years ago. It has been one of my children's favorite toys, hands down. I like it better than many castle play sets because it seems to encourage more imaginative play. It is soft and kid-friendly, and it zips up to become very transportable. We have taken it with us on several trips and it worked quite well. Our only complaint is that, being cloth, some of the figures are starting to come apart--but that's after several years of play. All in all, it's a great toy!

I am a big fan of the Pockets of Learning soft play toys. We own a few sets and have given them as gifts in the past. They are great for imaginative play and travel well. Usually the sets come in a heavy plastic and fabric case that zips and has the Pockets of Learning logo on it. However, this item was not delivered in the packaging. The castle was just in a plastic bag that was stapled shut. It looks like I picked it up second hand. This may not be as big deal if I was purchasing it for my own use, but I ordered it as a gift. Based on the lack of original packaging, I am not comfortable gifting the item as I had planned.

My grandson really enjoys this item we recently purchased. Unlike other castle type toys, this is soft, safe, and well constructed. Excellent for travel and the manufacturer replace missing parts free at any time.

I ordered this toy to send to a three year old as a gift. I was very disappointed when the toy arrived without a box, depicting how the castle would appear and without instructions. Instead, it arrived in a sealed plastic bag. Although I was impressed with the description of the item that I had read at this site, I am concerned that the child who receives this toy from me will not understand what it is, or what it can be. I am also concerned that the parents will be similarly confused. Presentation may not be everything, but it is alot. This toy lacks such presentation -- I am more inclined to buy the Fisher Price castle.
