early medieval designs from britain
Perfect condition, very cheap and good art refrence for Celtic Art. Good mini history on the artwork and this book is hard to find in stores. Very happy with my purchase! Thank you!

400+ Historic designs
While this book does show on some of the designs a diagram showing how the patterns are constructed I found it much too sketchy to really follow out how they were made. I ended up buying a companion Dover book titled 'Celtic Art:The Methods of Construction' to get a better sense of how to make these patterns step-by-step. One good thing about this book is that the source...

While this book does show on some of the designs a diagram showing how the patterns are constructed I found it much too sketchy to really follow out how they were made. I ended up buying a companion Dover book titled 'Celtic Art:The Methods of Construction' to get a better sense of how to make these patterns step-by-step. One good thing about this book is that the source for each design shown is documented. Buy this book and the one I listed above and you'll have plenty of designs to use in your own artwork.
