These are the cards I learned to read tarot from and they are gorgeously illustrated as well as printed on high quality laminated card stock. There is a lot of information to take in on each card, but I find that the plethora of symbols help to get the message on the card across much clearer. I do not know why they are titled Medieval because they are clearly renaissance, but other than that particular peculiarity they are wonderful. I would recommend them to newbies and veterans alike.
