The Medina River River Gator Bar B Q Tongs have a unique design that allows you to do everything with the Bar B Q from turning the steaks to ajusting the briquettes. They are lightweight and easy to use. The sure grip tips will not puncture the meat while you are turning it. One pound of presure on the handles is two pounds at the tips.

Not what they used to be,

I had bought a pair of these alligator tongs from Sportsman's Warehouse several years back, and was very impressed with them. Sturdy. Durable. So were my river buddies. So I was pleased when I found them online, and bought 6 pairs to hand out to my envious friends. Well, I was a bit disappointed when the tongs arrived - they are made from lighter material (about 2/3 the thickness of my original pair) and just don't seem to have the same "manliness" to them. They might as well be pink in color. They function the same as the original, but why make them lighter? To save a little bit of aluminum? Yeah, I'm disappointed.
