It describes the product as "Long shelf life", but the documentation that comes with the product gives it an 18-month shelf life. How many power outages do they think I'll experience in 18 short months? Most "emergency" batteries have shelf lives that range between 6-15 years. Also check the datecode on the package when you receive it, and you'll likely find many of those 18 months have already elapsed.
There is also nothing special about the advanced 14 LED Flashlight. First of all, there are no batteries in it, it doesn't accept batteries, and it needs to be plugged into the activated Power Pack to light (how are you going to do that if it's charging your cell phone?) Or perhaps you want to use a bulky fuel cell power pack and cord plugged into the small flashlight for an emergency flashlight with an 18-month shelf life? Well, the 14 LED head is no better than the LED flashlights that are sold at the local home improvement discount stores for $2, so my advice would be to buy one of those and spend $4 on lithium batteries for it: you'll have a 15-year shelf life and well over 100 hrs run time without having to attach a cable and expensive fuel cell to make it light!
I can see a certain application for this on a long airline flight or perhaps camping or hiking where power is not available, but the idea is a lot more cute than it is practical.
