5.0 out of 5 stars Medisin - Great Information
Great book, full of information and scary also. It will change your perception of the entire "medical industrial complex". Great health tips, and your entire patterns of eating and drinking will be altered forever!!!

This review is from: Medisin (Paperback)
The authors of MEDISIN have gone to great pains to document how

modern medicine has been corrupted by greed so much so that it has

become a sin-MediSin. I'd always wondered why doctors didn't just

use the natural treatments that many of our older relatives used,

worked for centuries, and are safe. The answer to that question and

many more are in MEDISIN. A few of the topics analyzed are the

history behind the removal of natural medical applications such as

Homeopathy, the origin of disease, prescribed drugs, vaccinations,

preservatives in our food, and the safety of our drinking water.

Revealed in the final third of the book are cures for the medical

sins discussed in the early portions of the book. Truths and myths

about nutrition were explained. Breakdowns of what food combinations

are good and bad and why were also listed. For example, proteins and

starches usually don't make for a good combination; read the book to

find out why those steak and potato folks are in trouble. Stress and

stress management were discussed along with several other topics.

MEDISIN is full of interesting and useful information in an easy to

understand format. The authors cited sources, making it simple for

readers to do their own research if they so choose. My area of

contention with MEDISIN was the tone. I love a good conspiracy as

well as the next guy, but the authors spent so much time "preaching"

about the evils of modern medicine and the greedy folks running it

that they diminished their own message-a message I agree with. What

I'm sure is a passion for what the writers' believe in came off more

as anger that people aren't listening to them. I recommend MEDISIN.

I suggest starting at chapter 34, Solutions to MediSin, and read to

the end of the book. Then read the introduction through chapter 33.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Read!, May 11, 2006
By
This review is from: Medisin (Paperback)
Medisin is one book I would recommend to all whom I come in contact. It's not only loaded with healthy information but there are morsels of history thrown in as well. Does "Bayer" ring a bell? What is happening here? Are we in the business of making people well or keeping them ill? What happens when we become so immersed in greed and money that God is written out (X) of the script. We perish! Information is power, people, so read, get informed so you can teach your children, family, etc. Back to Eden: back to natural growing of foods, colonic irrigation, and eating organic, wholesome foods is the way to heal ourselves back to health. Dr. Whitaker quoted Thomas Jefferson, who said, "When the government fears its people you have liberty, when the people fear the government you have tyranny." So, we do have a choice in how we live . . . or die.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Awakening, May 11, 2006
This review is from: Medisin (Paperback)
I really did not know what to expect when I received the book.I suffer from leukemia, so for several years I have been fed a lot of information, and to my surprise after reading the book apparently not the right information. It is so easy to be mislead/misinformed but to be awaken to the truth has empowered me to take control of my condition and not let my condition control me.

For the last 6 months I have had no chemo, no drugs, but have followed a protocol that consistes of all natural herbs and my health has stabilized. I challege others to read the book- Wake up and be informed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Knowing the truth will truly make you free!!, May 13, 2006
This review is from: Medisin (Paperback)
Brilliant, Brilliant. This is one of the most important books I have ever read in my life. It is thoroughly researched, and contains undisputable evidence that the current food / medical industry is part of a large Matrix designed to keep us as constant consumers of their poisonous products. There is no need to argue over what we BELIEVE, we must study to show ourselves approved, so that we may KNOW. Thank you DR.Whitaker; you most certainly have showed yourself approved and the Most High and the Ancestors are smiling upon you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Eat To Live - Don't Live To Eat, June 12, 2006
This review is from: Medisin (Paperback)
Dick Gregory is absolutely correct when he stated that this book should be next too everyone's Bible. The information conveyed, if adhered to, can possibly save, or, provide the quality of life that we all wish for. Read this book! Study this book! Tell your family members to read this book! All the monetary success in the world means absolutely nothing if you are in bad health!

5.0 out of 5 stars Medisin, May 23, 2006
This review is from: Medisin (Paperback)
Poor health is a lucrative revenue source that has been exploited by the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. This book is the truth. Incontrovertible. It contains proven information the pharmaceutical industry and the medical community have long surpressed. This knowledge will allow each of us to become proactive instead of reactive about our health. Indeed, our health is our only true wealth.

4.0 out of 5 stars The King's New Clothes...Exposed, May 11, 2006
This review is from: Medisin (Paperback)
I was impressed with the detail, the examples, and the simple logic of the book. It was organized conceptually, but maintained a realness that allowed me to relate to the information without feeling like I was stumbling through a medical digest. In other words, a layman could understand the medical insights.

Moreover, the information and style addresses an audience that has a limited method of being helped, the oppressed. These are people most influenced by the ridiculous dietary methods that American companies traditionally advertise and promote on the television, radio, and sell at the corner store in inner-city poor neighborhoods.

I mean' when have you ever seen hotchips, and pork-feet in an upperclass grocery store?

This book simply put exposes another method of oppression; And, the authors are like the little boy who says aloud, "The King is naked"...although we are fighting ourselves to believe he has new clothes.

After listening to Dr. Whitaker on a local radio station, I immediately went out and purchased this book. Not only did I began to change my eating habits, I began to understand the concept behind the food and drug industry. And, so will you. I also share this information with my children so that they will grow up understanding how to stay healthly and not die young.
