I picked up this book out of curiousity and found it was actually a rather nice introduction to what meditation is, and is not.

I particularly liked the outlines of several different styles of meditations, including using candles, colors, and focusing on the chakras. As a reiki initiate, I've found the chakras to be a powerful way of making progress towards un-binding old emotional and physically stored traumas, and I expect that using these concepts in meditation will be very beneficial, no matter what level of progression one comes from.

I found that this book was definitely easy to read and understand how meditation works and how best to use it. I've read a few books on meditation but this one is the best. So, if you're a beginner and want a general understanding of meditation then this is the book to read. Thanks for the book, great read.

Meditation for Beginners : How to Mediate a Practical Guide for Beginners by Dollie Carder is an excellent reference source for learning how to meditate. This book isn't just about why you should meditate, the benefits and how to. It's just so much more. The color mediation education I got here was of particular interest to me. Feelings and thoughts naturally associated with color. Steering your thinking in one direction or another. Bottom line is this book is one I thoroughly enjoyed and learned from and I recommend it with a double thumbs up to you!

I cannot believe that finally I when I meditated and relaxed I wasn't under the pressure of constant thoughts or constant stress just deep relaxation joy and love. I love thks book a lot an I never knew how how much meditation can help. I felt free. Everyone should meditate in my opinion because I know the world would not be how it is now it aid be peaceful and joyful!
