Wonderful book! I got this book as part of a required reading list for a spiritual school... I had never really meditated before and didn't understand how it worked and what i was supposed to be doing while "just sitting"... This book is wonderful for beginners and experienced meditators alike! There are great exercises and recommended meditations as well as tips for how and what to focus on, breathing techniques, postures, etc etc.. I finished this book the first day I got it and was left with a feeling of excitment (for the upcoming meditations I was about to embark upon) as well as a feeling of confidence that I had learned so much about meditation and was now entirely confident that I was "doing it right"... pros: extremely informative easy to understand motivating thorough page turner cons: none. Go out and get this book asap! Meditation is such a wonderful healing tool... And we could all use a little healing. :)
