This book is great for converting feelings, thoughts and a daily record of events onto paper. The cover is beautiful, and the paper has a great texture which is perfect for writing on.

This journal made a great gift for a girl in her pre-teens, wanting to be grown up, but I think it would be an elegant gift for a woman, too.

The cover is a pretty pastel sort of blue with a white flower in the center & the words, "Meditation Journal". The cover's colors are somewhat muted & dreamy. The pages inside are cream-colored & lightly lined. They are also undated, which makes it easy to write in whenever one is inspired to write, which may not be every single day! It doesn't lay flat as it is the kind that needs to be "broken in", but the advantage of the binding is that it will be a sturdy book, & a journal one can keep for many years & look over, etc.

I'm sure if the girl I presented this journal to, were to rate it, she'd give it 5 stars (she loved it!), & the reason I only gave it 4 was because I had been expecting a different sort of cover (as there is no preview image available on this site) from the description on this site.

I recommend getting it for someone you love, who loves to write!
