This was my first guided meditation cd and I have been very pleased with it. It has great visualization exercises for relaxation and centering. John Daniels voice is very soothing and evenly toned it is very easy to follow his instructions for a truely releasing experience.

I've had this CD for at least 10 years now and I am still loving it. It's the best meditation CD I've bought (though I do like Belleruth Naparstek's Health Journeys CDs too). John Daniels has a very calm and relaxing voice and I like the music. As mentioned in my other reviews, it's got a good voice-to-music sound level ratio. The affirmations relate to personal and work life ("I am appreciated by my coworkers...").I ripped the CD to MP3 and then used music editing software to split it up into a bunch of tracks. That way if I miss something I can just press the rewind button to back up a bit. I listen to this at bedtime. I don't think it's a coincidence that I feel less stressed and more positive the next day.

Tone down the music!!!,

In the affirmations portion of this CD I found the music to be heavy, invasive, and downright annoying. It drowns out the narration. One cannot relax for straining to hear the words.
