Meditation Tool Kit: Forest, Sky, Water, March 29, 2001
This review is from: Meditation Tool Kit (Forest, Sky, Water) (DVD)
We'll it's now apparent to me that Amazon is not prejudice against selling things that seriously lack in content and quality. This DVD consists of still shots of trees, water and other landscapes. If this is what you are looking for, in DVD format, you're search is. This DVD has nothing to do with meditation and proves that if you can package it, someone will sell it. Needless to say that I'm very disappointed that not only did I purchase a 4th grade quality video of natural settings, but it's falsely advertised as a meditation DVD and clearly it's boring shots of someone's camping trip.

A beautifully, well done DVD. Great for meditation and yoga., April 3, 2004
This review is from: Meditation Tool Kit (Forest, Sky, Water) (DVD)
I disagree with the other person that said this DVD has nothing to do with meditation. It is wonderful for meditation. It does not instruct you on how to meditate, but if you know how to meditate, it is a wonderful tool. Also, if you have your own yoga practice it is a wonderful visual aid. If you feel like practicing in the forest, in open air (sky), or by the water, this DVD give you that setting. It is long running and well worth the money to add this to your collection. Check my other yoga practice reviews on amazon. Thanks!

slow but inspiring, September 7, 2010
This review is from: Meditation Tool Kit (Forest, Sky, Water) (DVD)
This video shows beautiful scenes from nature with the accompanying sounds. It is very, very unhurried with no flashy video effects. A tree is shown blowing in the wind and it seems as though one perceives a real interaction between the branches and the wind. Though slow-going and admittedly a little difficult to sit through without any interruption, nature somehow becomes personal for the viewer. Maybe every 20 minutes or so (not sure), the screen will go blank and there will appear an inspiring, cryptic, and/or wise saying that brings one back to the human element and definitely making an impression. One would not watch this everyday, but an occasional viewing would help one to kind of get his bearings back.
