not really meditation music,

This IS classical but NOT meditative at all. Some of the pieces are counter meditative and agitating. Find OTHER options if meditating is your goal.

I agree with the other reviewers that many of the selections are not what I'd call "meditative". However, this is certainly a very pleasant and well recorded sampling of music, including many relatively unknown pieces like the Sir Arthur Benjamin and Anthony Payne works. I suggest, until Amazon adds its own streaming service (hopefully soon!) you join the Naxos Music Library and listen to the lovely pieces on this on other albums.Also, this CD is supposed to be available in downloadable form and the "MP3" link leads to another album. When Amazon fixes this, we could all download individual titles, many of which are well worth it. |
