Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Audio CD
My 6-year-old daughter has difficulty concentrating at times. Other times she gets so focused on something that you have to touch her shoulder and hold it there to get her to snap out of it. She is extremely bright (IQ is 155) and goes to an excellent school for gifted children. Her teachers said this can be common in children this smart, but I personally practice mindfulness and meditation and have produced two meditation audio recordings myself and know the benefit of these techniques, so I was eager to have my daughter try a product especially for kids. My daughter and I listened to a few of them together the first time, and she was intrigued and she and I even giggled a few times during the different tracks. They are very light and easy and fun. They are also great because they are only 1-2 minutes long each, so she doesn't look interest too quickly. She especially enjoyed Astronaut and In the Tree. My husband is a true entrepreneur and also loses focus easily; he also thoroughly enjoyed these tracks! I definitely recommend them!

Debra has extensive experience helping children and adults thrive with ADHD. She combines knowledge gained from her own personal healing journey, her parenting experience, her clients, and her professional study of ADHD and brain dysregulation into her holistic approach.

She found it so helpful in her own life that she started teaching her clients the skills she was using. She went on to develop clinical material on mindfulness skills and created a 4 step process for working with clients using mindfulness that she perfected in her private practice and in an intensive outpatient program. Her clients have shown her that mindfulness skills improve the rate and quality of treatment outcomes.
