5.0 out of 5 stars Good for busy moms!, March 22, 2000
This review is from: Meditations for Mothers of Toddlers (Paperback)
This book is a real winner. As a mother of nineteen month old twins, I do not have a lot of time on my hands, however, I am always in need of a little inspiration. The author combines pithy quotations with great, short, reflective writing. It is easy to pick up and set down at a moment's notice, since each thought is roughly one pargraph in length. I have passed it along to several of my friends and am hoping for a sequel!

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Twos.., June 15, 2007

This review is from: Meditations for Mothers of Toddlers (Paperback)
I loved the toddler years...my child became her own person. Yet with that development came a lot of "no" and "mine"
behaviors. Beth's book helped soothe my nerves and reassure me during this challenging phase of motherhood. She reminded me of the importance of this stage of development, not only for my child, but for me as a mother.
Honestly, there are a lot of parallels between the toddler and teen years.
Beth's book helped me with both.

5.0 out of 5 stars Peaceful Parenting, June 4, 2007
This review is from: Meditations for Mothers of Toddlers (Paperback)
As the mother of five children, I have found that you need to be a different parent to each child due to the individual qualities they each possess. There is no 'one size fits all'. That is why I have appreciated this book so much. Each time I read through a meditation, it encourages me to apply my inner wisdom to suit the challenges arising from that paticular child's situation. In essence, it is a new book each time I pick it up. We all need a calming voice of reason when we are challenged by toddler behavior on a daily basis. This book provides that voice.

Motherhood is so busy, sometimes I could only read one wonderful page a day. That was comfort enough.
