Everything I've tried to keep my dog's tags on her collar, this works the best. I love that you can't easily take the clip off the collar at night to keep down the noise. It clips very strongly and if you have a solid split ring to hold the tags there are no worries about losing the tags accidentally.

I purchased three of these for my three dogs, to keep their tags in order and allow me to swap out their collars. It works exactly as described. I can easily transfer their tags to different collars, or remove them temporarily (such as at night when we don't want jingling tags). I wish I had thought of this product! I recommend it!
