My daughter had tubes put in her ears to alleviate her reoccuring ear infections. This was done over the summer and during peak swimming season. The EAR BAND-IT held the moldable ear plugs in and provided additional protection from bacteria entering the inner ear. The headband is soft and has enough stretch to stay in place. My daughter could also hear us when spoken to at a normal volume. We found it was a bit easier to put on if she had her hair in a pony tail. Also, the variety of colors lets you have one to match every outfit!

Very cool product and a must for kids with ear tubes who love water. Nice and light (I was a little nervous it would be too thick and heavy feeling). BUT BEWARE: the sizing guide is off. My daughter has a 19" head, and since that's right in the middle of the medium range (17-21"), we figured that was safe. Nope. We have to synch it ALL the way...so that just the tiniest bit of velcro is holding it shut and a long piece is left flapping off the back...and even then it's not quite snug enough. To put it in further perspective, a medium fits ME with room to spare (my head measure 22.5"). We will definitely be exchanging it for a small...

My daughter also had tubes put in her ears and we got these in combination with ear plugs to keep pool water out of there over the summer. They worked great but after about a month it started to fray and was dangerously close to being unusable. I called the company and a human answered the phone (no voice mail, no robots), I explained the situation and they replaced the wrap for free with free two day shipping. Didn't give me any hassle or ask for any proof, didn't even ask me to send back the defective wrap. The one they sent lasted 2-3 more months of heavy summer pool use. Since they treated me so well I order two more for use this summer. The old blue one is still usable but she's a year older and pink is the new blue. great product.

We use the ear band along with earplugs to protect our little ones ears while in the water. The band helps keep water out, but also serves as a reminder to her and to others not to encourage her to put her ears in the water. The velcro makes it easily adjustable and it fits snugly when first placed. With our active little one it does, however, need regular adjustment to keep it in place. Colors are great. We have not experienced fading even after several uses in the lake and a few in a chlorinated pool.
