Medium Large Orthopedic Memory Foam Pet Dog Bed with waterproof brown suede cover for small to medium dog

I purchased two different sizes, one with the blue denim cover and one with the brown suede cover. This item has many pluses. The foam is firm, the inner cover makes it easier to get the outer cover off, and both covers are washable. We've washed ours at least a half-dozen times (more about that below) and they still look good as new. The bed looks neat and stays pretty clean; it doesn't collect dog hair.

It does have one drawback...the top of the inner cover is waterproof, but the bottom is not. And if your dog has an accident, while the top of the foam might not get wet, it still runs...right down the side and underneath, getting the bottom wet, where it soaks through both liners and into the foam.

Bottom line: This is a well-made product, but expect to wash the covers and use a pet oder/stain remover on the foam if they have accidents.

One further note: I just removed the cover to wash it and tore the end of the zippered opening. I think it will still work; I just need to be more careful when removing the foam.

Although my pad smells I heard that is normal. I took off the cover and it is a tight squeeze. I washed it. When I put the cover back on i riped it a little and the zipper broke off when I closed it. Just so you know to be careful if you take off the cover. Other than that I love it and I don't know what I would do without it.

I've gone through dozens of "orthopedic" dog beds in the past 16 years (I have old dogs).
The regular sized orthopedic foam is flattened out in a matter of months and the beds become useless.
This thick memory foam holds it's shape and is super soft. The dogs love it. I'm sure that it will last for years.
It's well worth the price.

I have 5 year old bulldog that is pretty spoiled (My fault) so he is picky about where he sleeps. If he does not like it, eventually he will chew it up thinking its nothing but a mere plush toy. However the minute i brought it in he right away plopped himself on it and never leaves it! I fit in his kennel since it was perfectly rectangular it fit like a charm. He is very obedient but he loves it so much that sometimes when i call him over he looks at me like im crazy! If my dog was able to speak im sure he would say thanks and he loves it!

When I embarked on my hunt for a memory foam bed for my Beagle/Bassett mix, I was SMACKED with big boasts and exaggerated claims.

That is, UNTIL I found dogbed4less! Not ONLY are their claims to quality accurate, they may be UNDERstated. I know for a fact that their level of customer care is understated and, in my opinion, an example for ALL Amazon merchants to follow!

The suppliers customer service was very good and the product itself is fantastic. My old puppy loves the supporting foam and I'm loving the waterproof layer and waterproof cover. The memory foams quality is exactly what I was hoping for and it's much more attractive in my living room than the smelly, frumpy dog bed it replaced. Very highly recommended.
