Returning home from two months in hospital, I was unsure of ability to use standard (low) toilet, so purchased this commode. I was very happy to have it, as I found my toilet (with no place to push with hands) was too low to permit me to get off it! I first used the commode as intended, at my bedside. Later, I removed the bucket and used it over standard toilet as essentially a "seat riser." With it's simple snap-together construction, ease of adjustment, and sturdy design, I found it to be a perfect purchase for my needs.

The portable commode was the answer to an inexpensive way to solve my elderly
mother's problem of getting up during the night and not wanting to walk far from her
bed. Many of these commodes are very expensive, but this one is reasonable priced and
well-made. It was the perfect solution for this particular problem.

GOOD VALUE MEETS THE NEED
This is an excellent product for bedside use. Using the liners makes it all work better. I also used this as a shower chair then wiped it off after use.
