It is an easy to assemble product which is quite stable in use. Good for a small shower. Very pleased with the prompt delivery.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good, but missing parts made it a pain

When doing the inventory of parts on the instructions, the unit was missing 1 nut and washer. Without the nut it cannot be assembled. Luckily I had a nut in my garage that worked, but isn't exactly the same and I made do without the missing curved washer. Getting the parts would have been more trouble than the price of the unit. For the insignificant cost of a nut and washer they should include additional so that if they loose one during assembling the package there would be another available.

Also, this is a bath chair not a shower chair. The legs are angled to work best in a bath tub, but since the rubber feet are flexible the chair also works in the shower. Those that want a specific chair for the shower and are concerned about the stability because of how this chair is designed for a bath tub might want to look at a different model.

After assembly unit is sturdy and works to function.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great chair! Great price!, December 15, 2010

This is a great shower chair. I purchased it before an ankle surgery after shopping at several local stores. The quality and price of this chair supercedes everything we had found. Very sturdy, yet light enough to move in and out of the tub easily. Quick and easy assembly using large knobs (no tools required). Can be used with or without the back. Costs less than a basic small bench seat at the local stores. I will add that the maximum weight capacity (which was not listed in description) is listed as 250 lbs. Highly recommend this product!

4.0 out of 5 stars Bath tub chair, July 3, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this chair (on sale I believe) when I broke my ankle and needed a way to shower without standing. It fit into our undersized bath tub. The only complaint is that in spite of the textured seat it was still a little slippery, otherwise it worked fine and I will continue to use it after I heal. It is very sturdy.

The chair was very easy to assemple. It is perfect for our shower and the feet do not slip on the floor. The seat is wide enough for a "plus size tush" and the grips on the side make it easy to get up. You can't go wrong with this for the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Medline Shower Chair Review, October 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The chair requires assembly but it is very easy to assemble. The chair is very practical and sturdy. It is wide so it fits almost everybody. With suction cups at the end of the legs, which are easily adjustable, you have no fear while using chair. Although this is a chair for those who have reduced mobility, it is also practical as a spa chair. It can also be used in cases of a leg injury. I love it! But I got it for my wife who needs it to be seated when showering. I strongly recommend this chair because it can be adjusted to fit your frame to a "T!" It is a buy that I am so happy to have purchased. We have been using it now for almost a month now but I can see it lasting a lifetime! 1.0 out of 5 stars RUST RUST and more RUST, January 24, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Shower Chair (Health and Beauty)
Not even 3 months old and there's rust spots all over my tub. The rust is coming from those rubber feet at the end of the chair legs -- it seems they put metal washers in the feet to prevent the chair legs from cutting through them .. but guess what?! metal washers rust. I am writing the company to see if they've fixed the problem .. so until then, DON'T BUY THIS CHAIR UNLESS YOU LIKE RUST.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as sturdy as expected, December 19, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I returned this item because it was not sturdy enough for our needs. If you just need it for sitting on, it would be fine, but if you need to use it to support you as you sit and rise, it's not the right thing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good product! I'm very happy with this purchase., June 17, 2010

The bench was delivered before promised which was a welcome surprise. The instructions were concise and easy to follow. No tools needed and the parts are easy to handle. The quality is great. I am very pleased with this whole transaction. It's a shame more manufacturers and retailers do not offer the same quality at such a reasonable price. I will definately do business with this company again.
