Been a fan since the 1980's and this one was great!
Paul Legerski
Clearly, Garton has done his homework on the pharmaceutical industry, and the inside knowledge is only one of the many fascinating elements of this novel.
Steven Harriman
This story is incredibly poignant & extremely well written.

I have long been a fan of Ray Garton. Since Live Girls in the eighties he has created stories that grab you by the short and curlies and refuse to let go. While his early stuff was within the horror Genre he has branched out into the suspense and thriller genre. And with Meds he has created an too real vision of horror without ever leaving the realm of true possibility. Meds centers on Eli and his fiance. Eli has beaten addiction and has been seeing a Dr who has recently prescribed him with a new Med, a great Med that has seemed to truly help. Little did he realize the fine print in the paperwork that accompanies the drug. DO NOT SUDDENLY STOP TAKING.....No problem right? Wrong. Soon the drug is no longer available and then all hell breaks loose.

From the halls of power, the drug companies, the NSA, hired assassins to the average person who seeks help from Doctors who made an oath to help, the greed and cyclical psychotic merry go round of Meds will wrap you around its finger from the very first page.

Meds is a thriller in its truest sense, and it is an awesome and scary ride into a world that is horrifying. Horrifying because the realm of possibility that the novel focuses on is here and well we are all players in this realm. Anyone of us who has ever taken a prescription medication for any reason, can relate to this book and take heed in its message. No one will be disappointed in Meds. Ray Garton proves he is not only what people call a horror writer. He is a writer. And a damn good one. Pick up Meds now, and when you fill your scripts read the fine print.......

MEDs is a triumph. Slick, entertaining and chilling, it contains ALL of the best elements of Ray Garton's previous novels, taking them mainstream in a way that Thomas or Robert Harris would envy. It grabbed me on the first page and kept me hooked the whole way. Clearly, Garton has done his homework on the pharmaceutical industry, and the inside knowledge is only one of the many fascinating elements of this novel. The characters are involving and real, making the story all that much more gripping. The prose, as always, is smoothly tailored to light the screen of even the most resistant imagination. Garton knows the subterranean terrain of the psyche more thoroughly than any shrink and, as a novelist, he's one of our national treasures, a Poe for the modern age. This is a dark and thrilling ride.

I have only READ a few of Ray Garton, but I enjoyed each one. MEDS is particularly informative because we all take Rx drugs at some point. This story is incredibly poignant & extremely well written.

I love Ray Garton Books. His stories can go from extreme horror, twisted, to action adventure, funny and real life possibilities. This book I could not put down, non-stop page turner. This story shows you a real scary scenario and what goes on behind the of making medications. Ray Garton did his medical homework....

What starts happening is complete chaos and some very strange agressive behavior, now that a new, popular medication is suddenly stopped.(( You know that yellow warning label that is on the side of our prescription bottles; "CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE YOU STOP TAKING THIS MEDICATION! "))) You'll soon find out it's there for a reason, because now news channels are starting to report some pretty gorey details out there. This story is a very intense medical and political thriller. It had alot of exciting action.......

Give this book a try you won't be dissappointed...... (Not a Zombie book)
