5.0 out of 5 stars Unique and smashing! April 22, 2002
Format:Audio CD
The Inmates prove, once again, that they remain the best and raunchiest R&B outfit in Britain. This live album focuses on the rockiest side of the Beatles and all songs are given a good electro-shock. Bill Hurley's voice is absolutely fantastic and the guy is surely one of the greatest singers, along with Paul Rodgers and Robert Plant. The band plays like there's no tomorrow and gives us a truly great album. It might be all covers, but I wish the Beatles had sounded like that!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Meet the Inmates? May 14, 2002
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
On the 25th anniversary of the release of Sgt Pepper's a French newspaper wondered what the Stones would sound like playing classic Beatles songs. As they couldn't get the Stones they went for the next best thing, the Inmates. For one magic night they gave a much needed shot of Eel Pie Island R&B to the Beatles songbook. A great idea and a great CD... John would have loved it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic live concert April 1, 2007
By R. Lee
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
But... don't buy this cd. The whole show, all (17) songs are on a cd with the same name. Look for the cd with 17 songs. Don't get ripped off buying this one. Other than that, prepair yourself to be ROCKED. The cd with all 17 songs gets 5 stars. R. Lee
