5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful story about making new friends.
My little girl loves Strawberry Shortcake and we purchase just about every SS book that comes out. This book is one of her favorites. First of all, it introduces a new character to the Strawberryland universe - pretty brunette Blueberry Muffin.

3.0 out of 5 stars Blueberry Muffin is great!
Blueberry Muffin is the new girl in town, and all the kids in Strawberryland think she's great! I think so, too. Having the star of the day get the spotlight is rude. Nobody notices, but poor Ginger Snap isn't getting any attention. Finally, Ginger apoligizes. (But can you believe no one else did?)

My little girl loves Strawberry Shortcake and we purchase just about every SS book that comes out. This book is one of her favorites. First of all, it introduces a new character to the Strawberryland universe - pretty brunette Blueberry Muffin.

Blueberry Muffin is new to the neighborhood and the kids are happy to welcome her, except for Ginger Snap. Ginger feels left out and becomes jealous when her friends pay more attention to Blueberry. With the help of Strawberry Shortcake and their friends, Ginger Snap begins to realize that having new friends doesn't mean you have to give up your old friends.

This is a nice story about friendship - creating new ones and keeping old ones. Strawberry Shortcake fans will especially enjoy the addition of Blueberry Muffin to the gang.

5.0 out of 5 stars BERRY BEAUTIFUL IMAGES!, April 6, 2005
This review is from: Meet Blueberry Muffin (Strawberry Shortcake) (Paperback)
This book was very well done, especially the art work. Very colorful, cute sweet images of the characters and strawberryland which would surely soothe eyes of any age.

Also a great story about friendship, making new friends, and sharing friends. A very positive lesson.

This review is from: Meet Blueberry Muffin (Strawberry Shortcake) (Paperback)
This book is full of color and cute pictures with good detail.
As a kid, I played with Strawberry Shortcake, so I appreciate this book, even though it's not the Exact original art of the 80s strawberry shortcake, it's still cute.
I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

You really can't go wrong with SS! All the books and movies are wholesome and entertaining. I love reading them to my daughter and watching the movies with her. Actually, my son loves them too but would never admit it to his friends (he's 9). Good thing he has a little sister ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars easy to empathize with Ginger Snap, December 15, 2005
This review is from: Meet Blueberry Muffin (Strawberry Shortcake) (Paperback)
My 4-year-old daughter wants me to read this to her every night and quickly wanted a Blueberry Muffin plush doll after getting this book (which we bought her.) She loves Blueberry. And what little girl hasn't gone through similar feelings of jealousy, feeling left out, etc when new friends pair up (just like Ginger Snap goes through???) It happens, so it's a great lesson to share with little ones. It's also nice to have Ginger Snap's thoughts put into words in the book. And then of course Strawberry comes to save the day and bring the friends all together. Great story!
