An admirable effort birthed from a pathetic film, August 1, 1998

For a movie that should never have existed, this collection of music is very impressive. The individual bands and artists fit well together in a mix heavy on the Ska. If nothing else, this album could be used for one just beginning in Ska and wanting to hear a good sampling of the bands. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Save Ferris, Radish, Hepcat and others, all much more dignified than the movie, are here and are worthy listening to.

The movie that inspired this soundtrack may not be on the hit list but this cd should be! My fave was "Lady Luck" because of it's pumping base you wanna get up and dance, SURF STYLE! this is a great soundtrack for parties and whatnot it's really a fun cd, so go buy it!!
