5.0 out of 5 stars Someone finally did it, August 21, 2006
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
In their book "Meet and Grow Rich" Bill Hibbler and Joe Vitale provide a step-by-step, easy to understand guide to the often misunderstood subject of masterminding. The book is informative and inspiring. It's also refreshing to read a book that was written from first hand knowledge and experience.

In "Meet and Grow Rich" the authors share the practical and necessary "what to do" and the "how to do it" info that can help anyone to easily create a successful mastermind group of their own. I especially liked Chapter 9 which provides real world, inspiring examples of how others have used mastermind groups to achieve both personal and professional success beyond their wildest dreams. The Q & A format of Chapter 10 answers the most common questions about masterminding and mastermind groups. Part II of the book gives other experts an opportunity to share their valuable knowledge, experience and insights into masterminding. Having participated in mastermind groups myself, I also appreciated the books helpful info on how to invite and select members, how to structure your mastermind sessions for maximum effectiveness, how to deal with different personalities in the group and how to easily resolve any challenges that may arise.

Giants of business such as Andrew Carnegie as well as some of the most successful individuals in business today have acknowledged using mastermind groups to build their fortunes. If you're committed to taking your life and your career to a higher level, this book will show you how.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for remote sales professionals (among others), September 8, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
As someone who has been home officed for more than 10 years now, I really appreciated this book. Most of us who have worked in corporate America have participated in mastermind groups (of varying value) internal to our companies - yes, I'm referring to staff meetings, weekly tags, etc. We tend to complain about having to attend these meetings (especially if they are not well run), but then once we are home-officed, we often miss the camaraderie.

Meet and Grow Rich provides the perfect solution for the home officed professional - especially for those in remote locations far from the nearest company site. And, you just might find that a mastermind group of your choosing is more valuable and more productive than your average company meeting - especially if you use the extremely helpful information provided in this book by Bill & Joe.

Sales people often feel more comfortable being open with sales people from companies selling complementary products as opposed to sales people in their own company who they may be competing with. This book will tell you how to find the right members for your group and how to have productive meetings that you will look forward to attending.

Thanks Bill & Joe!

5.0 out of 5 stars It's no coincidence that the most successful people of all time use mastermind groups., December 19, 2006
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
I had been intrigued by the idea of mastermind groups for some time, the idea had been "popping" into my conscious in some way, shape or form again and again. I was at the bookstore looking for books with ideas to help take me to the next level in my business and I spotted "Meet and Grow Rich" on the shelf.

It had a catchy title and I recognized one of the authors from a movie I had recently seen called "The Secret". He came across as honest and sincere in the interviews within the movie and I had been looking for information on the subject of mastermind groups, so I forked down the cash and took the book home.

I was not disappointed, the book is an easy read loaded with inspirational stories and anecdotes. I read the whole book in one night. In addition it is filled with practical ideas for building and benefiting from your own mastermind group. The ideas in just one chapter are easily worth the price of the book. Many of the ideas for mastermind groups come from the most successful and recognizable names in a wide variety of fields. One thing that they all have in common is that they use mastermind groups to help them achieve success.

One technique I found particularly worthwhile is Peter C. Siegel explaining how to do an effective mastermind group technique that Napoleon Hill just hints at how to do in his classic "Think and Grow Rich". Many readers may not understand how valuable this technique is until they put it into practice and benefit from it themselves.

I can't wait to put more of these techniques into practice and form my own mastermind group.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Informative, January 18, 2007
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
This book was exactly what I was looking for. It gives you a plan on how to get started in whatever type of mastermind group you are looking to form. Meet and Grow Rich also describes different perspectives on how the meeting should be run. I highly recommend it to everyone interested in joining or forming a mastermind group!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Mastermind "Bible", October 1, 2006
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
Bill and Joe have done a wonderful job in this book of explaining what a mastermind is and the many types of masterminds that exist or that you can start to help you "Grow Rich". They cover everything from the history of masterminding, you will be surprised to read how far back it goes and how to start your own mastermind. Some of the key points I loved about the book were how to deal with the dynamics of the different personalities that may exist in a group and how to satisfy their needs. I am looking forward to meeting Joe and Bill and their mastermind group in the near future by qualifying for the promotion they had recently.
I would recommend you buy several copies to give out to mastermind partners and anyone you know who feels like a solopreneur!

3.0 out of 5 stars The "how to" information is missing, October 1, 2009
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
I found the ideas in this book about why Mastermind groups are useful to be intriguing. But all the "how to" information is missing. The authors point you to a website that is supposed to include forms to get your group up & running quickly, member report forms to track your progress, information on where to find potential members and more. But, when you go to the website, the information is not there. Instead, to me, this book reads like a series of plugs for various information marketers (tons of .com sites listed throughout the book) who all want to sell you something. Two websites are mentioned specifically. MeetAndGrowRich.com says it's being redesigned and will re-open soon. MeetAndGrowRich.com/MAGR/ asks for your name and e-mail address, and then they don't send you the forms, even if you confirm your information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Reading, August 22, 2006
By
Pat O'Bryan (Wimberley, TX USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
I'm hardly a disinterested observer- I've had the financial and spiritual pleasure to be in two mastermind groups with Bill and one with Joe. However, I can speak first-hand to their knowledge of the subject, and the almost miraculous changes in my life and business that have resulted from my experience with our Mastermind group.

Bill and Joe have put it all in this book. How to do it, even if you live in the "boonies," how to actually start and run a mastermind group, and how to get the most out of the group- fast.

If you're wondering how to thrive as an entrepreneur, this book is essential reading

5.0 out of 5 stars Build Virtual Teams for Each Area of Interest Where you Need Better Decisions, May 4, 2007
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
Leading personal coaches today are saying that you can only grow quickly if you surround yourself with people who are smarter than you area. The authors here back up that statement by showing how to build a very smart team (mastermind group) of advisors and coaches to help you make faster and smarter decisions. I develop virtual teams for each of my areas of interest. Because of new technologies, I can meet frequently with people all over the globe without having to get onto an airplane. But, remember: email is for data, voice if for the relationship, but trust needs some face-to-face.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Map to formulate your own Mastermind Group, January 11, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
My goal was to form a mastermind group within a community of insurance professionals from across the country. This book was a map on how to perform that task successfully. We have formed our group, and are in the process of formulating our rules, and have started working together on a monthly basis. The goal is for each one of us to fulfill our life's dreams and having such a group will enable us to do just that...and more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hibbler is the MasterMind Master, August 19, 2006
This review is from: Meet and Grow Rich: How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own "Mastermind" Group for Health, Wealth, and More (Hardcover)
I've had the unique opportunity of getting personal coaching from Bill Hibbler on forming MasterMinds. I cannot express strongly enough the value of my involvement in my MasterMind group. It has added literally hundreds of thousands of dollars to my company's bottom line.

Yesterday I was in a local bookstore and found this book. It has ALL the good stuff on the topic from the mind of Bill Hibbler - and in addition - the genius of Joe Vitale to boot! You can grab this book to the tune of about $25, or spend thousands getting coaching from Bill and Joe personally... in EITHER case, you'll come out WAY ahead.
