Good read, Trey was one of those sweet shy characters that you can't help fall in love with Kendra means well but goes about it the wrong way. Trey mothers she was a doll (kind of a spoiler dont read) but I was sad for her in the end. all in all good read.

1.0 out of 5 stars I'm sick of dingbat heroines...
I'm sorry, but I couldn't get beyond the first few chapters of this book. The author lost me when I read that the heroine, Kendra Forrest, stole money from the company where she was employed to fund a make-over and her following fiscal irresponsibility.

Only in silly fiction would she then convince the CEO to let her be his maid to pay for her thievery...

5.0 out of 5 stars Simona Taylor Does It Again!!, September 7, 2009
This review is from: Meet Me in Paris (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I enjoyed Ms. Taylor's last two books and she didn't disappoint this time around. "Meet Me in Paris" hit the mark and I couldn't put it down from start to finish. The characters human, the storyline sublime. The essence of love, forgiveness and time being able to heal our wounds... Really good reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars All Fiction Is Unbelievable, September 9, 2009
This review is from: Meet Me in Paris (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
That's why we read it. Fiction gets us out of our normal lives and the real world into a realm where everything may not be realistic but makes entertaining sense. Simona Taylor again delivers a well-written story starring two passionate characters to root for. Kendra's past emotional wounds lead her to behave contrary to her true self, when she accepts her own shortcomings and vulnerabilities, we are assured we, too, can grow into the people we can be.

This review is from: Meet Me in Paris (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Let's start off by saying Simona Taylor is a lovely author. This book Meet Me in Paris, was a nice read. The story line and charecters were developed extremely well. The background information given about the charecters are excellent. Nice book that I will recommend to others.

Kendra Forrest has the career of her dreams as a travel agent at a busy travel agency. She loves fashion and has the latest trends in her closet; however, with her salary, she's not able to afford her fashion flair. She makes a drastic decision and hopes she's able to hide the truth with no one finding out. When her secret is revealed, she's given the opportunity from an unlikely source to correct her wrong doings.

Trey Hammond has recently become the owner of the travel agency where Kendra is an employee. While getting acclimated with his new company, he stubbles over information that involves Kendra and he can't ignore it. He makes a proposal to her to settle her debt; however, he soon realizes he needs her assistance in more ways than one. Will he be able to work with her and keep his emotions in tact?

MEET ME IN PARIS by Simona Taylor was filled with humor and passion. She vividly described the main characters and their conflicts. Her love scenes were hot, steamy and told with a classy touch. I truly enjoyed this read and recommend to other romantic hopefuls.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simona Taylor Delivers Again!, October 13, 2009

This review is from: Meet Me in Paris (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Meet Me In Paris is a page turner, like all of Taylor's books. Like Kendra in this novel, Taylor's main characters are never cardboard, but nuanced, complex and real. Their moral dilemmas keep me reading and interested. Fun to read yet with substance. The best combination!

I'm sorry, but I couldn't get beyond the first few chapters of this book. The author lost me when I read that the heroine, Kendra Forrest, stole money from the company where she was employed to fund a make-over and her following fiscal irresponsibility.

Only in silly fiction would she then convince the CEO to let her be his maid to pay for her thievery. Couldn't the author have come up with anything better than making Kendra out to be a dingbat thief? And what's worse is that she is incredulous when she gets fired.

I sorry, but I can't relate to that at all. Everything that followed was too unbelievable. I thought Kendra was stupid and her love interest was a chump.

Thank goodness I only paid $4.00 for the book, but I wish that I could return it to get my money back.

This review is from: Meet Me in Paris (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is my second book by Simona Taylor and she didn't disappoint me. Ms. Taylor has the talent of keeping you captivated. There is one part of the book I felt was unbelievable. i.e. who clears a debt of $14,000 in exchange to play make-believe girlfriend for 2 weeks? I guess that's why they call it fiction.... Anyway, don't let that statement deter you from reading the book. Ms. Taylor is a very good writer and overall the book is a good read.

After having read all Simona Taylor's books I immediately bought this book after its release and I must say that it was a great story.
Meet Me in Paris was a touching story about a woman who made a terrible mistake and did everything she could to fix it. The hero was strong enough to forgive her and help her make things right. It's also a fantastic love story, of course. Simona Taylor's men are always to die for. Trey Hammond was a smart, sexy dreamboat who knew what to do with a box of chocolates.

2.0 out of 5 stars A Little Unbelieveable, September 8, 2009

This review is from: Meet Me in Paris (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
The blurb on the back was misleading. It makes you think this would be a girl gets makeover into beautiful woman story but it's not. I hate to be the one to spoil it, but she was a thief. Granted everyone should get a second chance but the fact that she was got angry because she was fired for stealing and then the other story with pretending to be someone else was annoying. In fact the secondary story about the parents was unnecessary. Should most of the story been removed, it would have had no impact on the book. This is a library copy read.
