5.0 out of 5 stars One of My Favorite Scouts
Sailor Mercury is one of my favorite Sailor Scouts, and this book is full of bits of information about her. The exclusive pictures of Mercury/Amy are really cool, some being cute, and others glamorous. I especially like the pictures in the background of the poems in the back of the book. Mercury's transformation and attacks are in better order then the other scouts',...

3.0 out of 5 stars It is good, but....
What this book doesn't have is information on Ami's parents. I've always wanted to know about how she grew up, ect. Sure, we know her mother is a doctor, but how many people know that her father is divorced, and is still living today as an artist? I was very dissapointed that this information wasn't included into the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of My Favorite Scouts, October 22, 2004
This review is from: Meet Sailor Mercury: Ice (Paperback)
Sailor Mercury is one of my favorite Sailor Scouts, and this book is full of bits of information about her. The exclusive pictures of Mercury/Amy are really cool, some being cute, and others glamorous. I especially like the pictures in the background of the poems in the back of the book. Mercury's transformation and attacks are in better order then the other scouts', but it's still hard to figure out which picture comes first in the Episode Best 5 section.

Overall, I would say that this is a fun book to read like a magazine, simply flipping pages and reading little bits while you eat a snack, sit on the couch, or when you need something to do to pass a small amount of time. Although it's 93 pages long, there isn't so much reading material that it takes more then an hour or less to read if you read to the end without stopping. Almost all of the pictures, except for the exclusive ones, were taken from the TV series and movies, so if you're a die hard Sailor Moon or Sailor Mercury fan who's seen all the seasons of the show, and all of the movies, you might find this book to be uninformative and boring. But if you want an easy read, a book of info on Sailor Mercury to keep tucked away just in case, are new to Sailor Moon and want info on the scout with the blue hair that might be your favorite, or want to collect everything Sailor Moon or Sailor Mercury in existence, then I would recommend this book to you.

CAUTION: This book may contain material that younger children shouldn't be reading. This book contains much less mature content then the other Scout Guides, but there may still be some hints and bits here and there that may not be appropriate for younger kids.

This is your big chance to get to know Sailor Mercury/Ami,the cool top brain Sailor scout with the incredible power to cast powerful icy moves at her opponents! Here in this newly released coverage you can learn all about her personality, transformations, infomation on her planet guadian(Mercury),secrets and stylish outfits, not to mention a photo album and five episodes starring Sailor Mercury! All the infomation you ever wanted to know, all revealed inside book. This is a must for a Sailor Scout book collector and fan! There are also several other titles in the series: Meet Sailor Moon:Crystal, Meet Sailor Jupiter:Thunder, Meet Sailor Venus:Love and Meet Sailor Mars:Fire. I really loved this book because you can read it in your spare time and you might find something in common with Ami!This particular book in comparisent to the other titles are quite similar in structure but introduces a whole new character and in my opinion have similar rankings(about 4-5 stars)and I'm sure you will enjoy these titles as much as I did,so have fun reading! 5.0 out of 5 stars Sailor Mercury Fans will Love This One!!!, February 22, 2001

Sailor Mercury Fans, rejoice. This is the book that fans of her (especially myself) will be dying for. It has the information of the ice scout. There are some mistakes in this book, but other than that, it's a good one to get. Her 5 best episodes, her fashion collection,...I doesn't matter what's in it! There are somethings that she missed, like the "Amy's First love" story. That's what I want to see and look on about. And if you are a Sailor Moon show fan, this and 4 other scout guides will add to your collection.

Hee hee...it's hard not to enjoy yourself when reading up on your favorite cartton characters. It's even more fun when you've seen some of the original manga and the original version of the show (I recommend both to every moonie). Anyway, while not exactly an engrossing story, these little guides are good fun and perfect for a boring Sunday afternoon.

This book is a total must have for anyone who likes Sailor mercury! The book tells alot about Amy and her secrets, her life, and a little spot where she tells you what she thinks of the other scouts.

I have had this book for about a month. I love it! The pictures are great! There are only a few mistakes I have seen. Plus, it is hard on the eyes turning the book around and around to read it. But that does not make it bad. I still love this book! It is a must for any Sailor Mercury fan! I would highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sailor Scout Guide Books, January 11, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Meet Sailor Mercury: Ice (Paperback)
I ordered this book for my daughter after she begged me to get them for her. She absolutely loves them and usually takes them with her wherever she goes. She used to watch the Sailor moon TV show when she was younger and was really happy to learn there were books to go with it.
