It's hard to find great kid's music that's both fun to listen to and has rich content. So when I learned about Meet the Rizers, I was very pleased because we have very little children's music I'd consider great.

Meet the Rizers blew me away.

By taking nine passages from the Bible and setting them to music, Meet the Rizers allows children (and parents) to not only listen to some catchy, head bopping music, but to learn to memorize Scripture. It's very clever and I've got to commend them for it, particularly since it had to have been challenging to arrange the music for each verse. It's evident that a great deal of care has been taken with each song to make sure the integrity of the Scripture is maintained while not sacrificing musical quality.

A particular favorite of mine is Psalm 8:1. Because the psalms are mostly songs, it was fascinating for me to hear one set to music. And the arrangement works so well--it's fun to listen to and easy to memorize.

The only downside with this record: My 3-year-old daughter wants to listen to it ALL the time--which is a good problem to have, but it means I need to find more children's music of this caliber.

Meet the Rizers sets the bar high for future releases from the group and for kid-friendly music in general.

If you're looking for something for your next road trip, don't pass up this record.

OK, the title is true for me because my son can't even walk and talk, let alone comprehend words that are sung (although, he probably does, and we just don't know it!). But I bought this specifically for his benefit so that he has some tools for Scripture memory when he grows up.

Let me tell you, this is great even for those of us who grew up in the church, memorizing Bible verses for Bible drills, Awana, VBS, etc. Admittedly, it took me a little time to get used to the "children's pop rock" style (hey, I'm an old man at almost-thirty!). But that's a very, very small thing that I got over quite quickly once I realized I started to memorize verses in a snap just by memorizing the song lyrics - what a concept!

The only disappointment is that this is the only album they have (that I know of - anyone care to tell me otherwise?), and the fact that it's only in MP3 format (again, anyone care to tell me otherwise?). I would gladly purchase a physical CD version of this debut effort - even multiple copies to give away as gifts.

I not only recommend this for you and your family, I IMPLORE YOU to purchase the whole album, and check out Seeds Family Worship/Jason Houser while you're at it. This is high-quality Christian music for believers ages 0 through 120!

I first heard about The Rizers on a Children's Ministry website. I ordered the CD within a few days. We were looking for music for the children's puppet team to use. This is fresh, FUN, upbeat music that the kids were completely excited about the first time they heard it. They are still excited about it! A fun way to memorize scripture!

My two boys, ages 7 and 5, love rocking out to this CD. I think i love it just as much. As a father who is trying to intentionally lead my boys to love and abide in God's Word, these songs go beyond the cheesy church music we've wasted our money on. The music is excellent and because it is strictly the Bible verses, you can't go wrong. Looking forward to further releases!!

Great hooks make scripture memory addicting! and easy! A nice break from veggie tales in the car also!

I can't say enough good things about this album. The songs are incredibly catchy, and they have a great beat that makes them fun to dance to. It's amazing how easy it is for little ones to learn scripture when we're listening to music that's saturated in it. So much of Christian music is only semi-biblical, or has overt pagan undertones, and it's nice to have my children listen to music that I know is biblically sound and is all about Jesus.

Love it, love it, love it!

We LOVE the Rizers!!! We have a 2 & 4 year old. From the moment we started playing this album, both kids instantly started dancing. I love this group for three reasons:

1. The kids LOVE the music! They sing with it and dance with it.

2. I don't go crazy from listening to it. (I actually find it catchy)

3. The Biblical lyrics are great. I've heard enough songs about farm animals to last a life time.

I have 3 kids ages 7, 5 & 2 1/2 and they all LOVE the Rizers! I used to dread car rides because we would listen to the radio and everyone would fight over which song to choose and I could never find anything that we all liked that also had kid-safe lyrics...until we found the Rizers! Now everyone is happy and car rides are totally different! The music is so fun and catchy, you can't help loving it whether you are 2 or 32! I just wish they had 5 more albums!

Awesome album! The kids (4) and (2) love it. Lots of diversity and a great way to listen to Gods Word. Plus the music is good! Buy it and you won't regret it.

This album/group is a refreshing and long needed piece of originality in Christian music. I have a 5 year old son who loves this! What a great concept to help children get into the word! Buy this music and support this ministry, you won'd regret it!
