5.0 out of 5 stars Jack is in TOP FORM, September 11, 2002

If you are a Teagarden fan this and Coast Concert is an absolute must own. Jack is in at his gut-wrenching best with support of truly All Star gathering. I have a rather extensive collection of Teagarden and this CD would be competing for THE top of my list.
SIMPLY NO DISCUSSION NEEDED, GET THE CD OR BE VERY SORRY WHEN IT'S NO LONGER AVAILABLE !!

5.0 out of 5 stars Jack T in fine form..., May 20, 2002
This review is from: Meet Me Where They Play the Blues (Audio CD)
terrific CD.. gets tons of 'play' time around my house.. I love the vocal in "Meet Me Where they play the blues".. covers of Bix's "Davenport Blues" and the familiar Goodman tune "King Porter Stomp" are dazzling..

5.0 out of 5 stars A generally enjoyable Big T set..., May 23, 2000

This review is from: Meet Me Where They Play the Blues (Audio CD)
Jack Teagarden plays and even sings a little on this highly enjoyable set. Highlights are a vocal version of "Mis'ry & The Blues" and the instrumental "Blue Funk." A great addition to any seious jazz collectors library.
