This is a soft blues pearl - worth every cent, June 4, 2008
This review is from: Meet You There (Audio CD)
I would not take the slightest note to the horrible review above. Ignore it. This fellow purchased something and was disappointed that he got something entirely different. He don't like blues or whatever and wanted to blame somebody else that he got exactly that `dated' stuff and not the techno, heavy rock or whatever it was he was after. He should have blamed himself and not this great band for his mistake.
However, if you like soft blues music, and if you like the old man of British blues, Alexis Korner, you will not go wrong here. Alexis Korner was the fifth band member on this record and it can be heard. Korner was not commonly wrong when he picked musicians and he went ahead forming a band with the lead guitar and singer on this record. You only need to look at Alexis Korner's track record which includes John Mayall, members of the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Muddy Waters, you name it, they all worked with Alexis Korner at one or the other time. This in fact is one of my all time favourite soft blues records, it is blues cream for the ears.

So..., February 16, 2008

I bought this album looking for a Beefeaters (Dischord band) CD, but instead I got this thing. So I listened to it anyway. It sucks. Basically unimaginative, dated music. Don't buy this album.
