Everyone is a different person than the one they were a few years ago. "Meet Yourself Again for the First Time: Hidden Forces Shape Our Lives" is an exploration of the unconscious forces that may have shaped one's life without even knowing it. Events that happened when one was no more than a fetus through much of one's young life could alter one's world view for a life time. Discussing human nature and these potential effects, "Meet Yourself Again for the First Time" is of strong interest for readers seeking a metaphysical approach to their own lives.

More About the Author

William Pillow was reared as a Southern Baptist Christian and once considered entering the Christian ministry. Instead, he was educated and practiced as a Virginia pharmacist. He then worked for Eli Lilly and Company for thirty-four years. Building upon his work at Lilly in developing continuing education programs for pharmacists, he explored fiction writing after retiring. His first public literary effort led to his first book and to his screenplay adaptation of that book. Much later, his urgent concerns about aging and his wife's lingering illnesses provoked questions about life and death seemingly not answered by his Christian upbringing. He began a search of literature from health care professionals and the clergy. As a skeptic about the paranormal and metaphysical by training, he happened upon research by eminent professionals that suggested soul survival of bodily death. So he launched a never-ending search for credible reports about soul survival, the afterlife, and reincarnation. This led him to a conviction about God and personal spirituality and his second book. He also documented emerging scientific advances that significantly affect human health and well being, resulting in his third and fourth books. His fifth book will be: "Is This All There Is to Life? The Quest for Meaning." He currently is writing his sixth book, a Christian self-help book entitled "Can You Love Your Neighbor If You Don't Love Yourself?" His seventh book will emphasize the neuroscientific reasons for babies' need to feel love and attachment and to experience nurturing, entitled "You Can Be Your Child's Best Friend ... or Worst Enemy."
