First, I want to thank all those who participated in putting together the much need information regarding Head and Neck Cancer. While I found the information great - I would like to have it simplified even more. I am 6 months post treatment and show no signs of cancer so I have some experience regarding the iformation in the book. I think there are something missing that need to be addressed.

This will be an excellect source for those diagnoised with H/N cancer but would be difficult to follow at first when you have soooo much thrown at you. Thank you SMW

An excellent guide from diagnosis to possible treatments to support groups.
Well written and documented.
A great resource to the patient and family and friends.

A good reference but not what I would describe as patient-directed language especially chapter 1, which would benefit from more diagrams. I'm presently undergoing treatment in Australia and found this book to be very American, the title should be "Meeting the Challenges of Oral and Head and Neck Cancer in USA: A Survivor's Guide". I found the "100 Q&A About Head and Neck Cancer" more useful and it was available at my library.
