    5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome! November 5, 2013

I just finished Meeting Trouble and I really loved it. Rob and Sabrina are so cute and sexy together. At the beginning Sabrina and her friend Katie are trying to get into a concert featuring Trouble. They were late so they are locked out. Someone finally opens the door but knocks her down in the process. Helping her up is Rob the lead singer for Trouble with his band mate Tyler. They of course have an instant connection, he gives them backstage passes and they are already front row ticket holders so this is just complete it for them. Rob is sexy, alluring, and sweet. Sabrina is loyal, practical and pretty. They make a very cute couple. How will this work with Rob being on tour and Sabrina a teacher? You will have to read and see.

I loved the story, very quick and satisfying. I usually do not like the quick I love you's unless it is done right and to me this was believable.

Of course the sex scenes were amazing, I figured they would be since leading up to it, the story was well written and the sexual tension between them so was thick, there was just no way it would suck...!

The only thing I can say that I didn't like was the ending, I wanted MORE. Not the authors fault, me as spoiled as I am just wanted it to go on!

If you are looking for a sexy, quick read, especially about a rock star, this one is for you. You will not be disappointed

    Overall 5++++++

3.0 out of 5 stars Well it was free.... March 7, 2014
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Here's the thing. If I had paid for the book I would not have been happy with it and thus given it a lesser rating. It was a decent story but there was a lot to be left desired. I liked the pacing and the characters. The tone was fun. I mean, who hasn't fantasized about love at first sight with a celebrity? So the story itself was a solid 3.

    Here are my issues.

Editing. Lordy day, this is basically a long short story. Someone should have caught some of the obvious mistakes in editing.

I wasn't big on some of Sabrina's immature actions. She's a twenty four year old school teacher. Why is she sticking her tongue out at adults? She does this at least four times in 11 chapters. C'mon now, Sabrina, time to start acting like the teacher instead of the second grader.

The last time I checked MLK day was always in January, but in this story it's in February. It's a small thing, but still.

It ended happy but with no real resolution. Actually it was kind of abrupt.

Overall, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it. It's free, it's fast, it's an ok story.

    3.0 out of 5 stars Wasn't expecting something so R rated March 11, 2014
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a reasonably predictable story if you read the summary. And perhaps it was because I'd just finished a lovely gentle romance set in the old west, where people were far from worldly, but I was completely shocked when the passion immediately turned to porn. And as much as I want to write soft porn, or explicit sex, I just can't. I have no problem with that, if it's what you're looking for, but there was no warning at all. And as much as it's well written, it's very, very explicit, and this is a book I'd have thought might make a gift for my niece. Glad I read it first. Her mother would have killed me!! I also have a problem with the fact that so many girls who are just beginning to explore the world of lovemaking, are being exposed to this level of explicit sex. And, yes, I know it's fiction, but I kept thinking . . . condoms? Have neither of them heard of condoms? I know it slows the action a bit, but in the age we live in, it should be second nature, and if you're not ready to discuss that, then you're not ready to do it. Call me old fashioned, but . . . ! The cover gives a hint, but nowhere near enough. I think it would be a good idea for authors to rate their books as G, Adult Content, or R just to avoid getting low ratings for their work, just because of something like this. (And NO. I definitely wouldn't want to see compulsory ratings for books.)

    3.0 out of 5 stars 3.5 stars November 5, 2013

I really liked this book throughout the idea of a fantasy like this coming true would be amazing obviously. As I continued to read though and pay attention to where I was in the book I had a feeling the end would disappoint and it did. Not really a cliffy but it just ends. It would have been nice with an epilogue or mention of a sequel? The ending is the reason for the 3.5 rating :-/

Absolutely hated it! I got to page 45 before I started skimming it, and then I completely stopped reading. For an elementary school teacher, the lead character Sabrina has questionable morals. Even before finding out Rob's wife left him, she fantasizes about sleeping with him, and she even allows him to kiss her before finding out what's the deal with his wife. She acted like a 16-year old groupie rather than the 24 year old we're supposed to believe she is. She had no respect for herself, and to be honest, I couldn't figure out what was supposed to be hot about Rob.

I couldn't find it within me to root for this couple or care about their romance. Thank goodness this book was free, or I would be angry I spent money on it.

My advice to the author is to please write likable characters. I can overlook bad grammar in novels, but horrible characters are something I can't ignore.

    More About the Author

Emme Rollins is a NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR of New Adult/Mature Young Adult fiction. She's been writing since she could hold a crayon and still chews her pen caps to a mangled plastic mess. She did not, however, eat paste as a kid.

She has two degrees, a bachelor's and a master's, one of which she's still paying for, but neither of which she uses out in the "real world," because when she isn't writing, she spends her time growing an organic garden to feed her husband and children (and far too many rabbits and deer!) where they live on twenty gorgeous forested acres in rural Michigan.

She loves tending her beehives (bees are wonderful pollinators and Hello!? Honey!) and keeping up with her daily yoga practice and going for long walks in the woods with her boxer, Rodeo, who loves chasing squirrels almost as much as Emme loves writing!
