5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome! November 5, 2013
By Shay44
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I just finished Meeting Trouble and I really loved it. Rob and Sabrina are so cute and sexy together. At the beginning Sabrina and her friend Katie are trying to get into a concert featuring Trouble. They were late so they are locked out. Someone finally opens the door but knocks her down in the process. Helping her up is Rob the lead singer for Trouble with his band mate Tyler. They of course have an instant connection, he gives them backstage passes and they are already front row ticket holders so this is just complete it for them. Rob is sexy, alluring, and sweet. Sabrina is loyal, practical and pretty. They make a very cute couple. How will this work with Rob being on tour and Sabrina a teacher? You will have to read and see.

I loved the story, very quick and satisfying. I usually do not like the quick I love you's unless it is done right and to me this was believable.

Of course the sex scenes were amazing, I figured they would be since leading up to it, the story was well written and the sexual tension between them so was thick, there was just no way it would suck...!

The only thing I can say that I didn't like was the ending, I wanted MORE. Not the authors fault, me as spoiled as I am just wanted it to go on!

If you are looking for a sexy, quick read, especially about a rock star, this one is for you. You will not be disappointed

Story 5
Sex 5
Overall 5++++++

It was a very east addicting read. I read it in a couple of hours. Rock stars are my addiction so Rob is my new vice!

3.0 out of 5 stars Well it was free.... March 7, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Here's the thing. If I had paid for the book I would not have been happy with it and thus given it a lesser rating. It was a decent story but there was a lot to be left desired. I liked the pacing and the characters. The tone was fun. I mean, who hasn't fantasized about love at first sight with a celebrity? So the story itself was a solid 3.

Here are my issues.

Editing. Lordy day, this is basically a long short story. Someone should have caught some of the obvious mistakes in editing.

I wasn't big on some of Sabrina's immature actions. She's a twenty four year old school teacher. Why is she sticking her tongue out at adults? She does this at least four times in 11 chapters. C'mon now, Sabrina, time to start acting like the teacher instead of the second grader.

The last time I checked MLK day was always in January, but in this story it's in February. It's a small thing, but still.

It ended happy but with no real resolution. Actually it was kind of abrupt.

Overall, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it. It's free, it's fast, it's an ok story.

3.0 out of 5 stars 3.5 stars November 5, 2013

I really liked this book throughout the idea of a fantasy like this coming true would be amazing obviously. As I continued to read though and pay attention to where I was in the book I had a feeling the end would disappoint and it did. Not really a cliffy but it just ends. It would have been nice with an epilogue or mention of a sequel? The ending is the reason for the 3.5 rating :-/

5.0 out of 5 stars What does your heart say? Thump Thump. July 13, 2014

Omg! OMG!!!! This is totally the best rock star romance I have ever read!!! It seemed soooo real. I can totally see this being made into a movie! Anyway.. I love how the story wasn't rushed. I love how at the end she didn't leave with him cos typically that is what would have happened. Omg omg...I'm still on a high from this book! Time to start book 2.

4.0 out of 5 stars The perfect weekend with a rock star February 2, 2014
By Kmac
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
So, it's not the perfect ending, but it's surely an awesome book.

It's a once in a lifetime dream come true that could blossom into so much. I think this book could be titled 'The Most Perfect Weekend with a Rock Star'. I learned more about these two characters in a weekend, than I do with some 400 page novels, that last months and years. The emotions were real, the conversations flowed and the sex was great!

Some how, Emme Rollins found a way to roll up a lifetime worth of events and feelings into one weekend, without giving it too much of a fairy tale ending, or making it seem compressed to the point of bursting.

I love Rob and I love Sabrina. Both as individuals and a couple. Their 'Happy Accident' was believable and their weekend adventure left me feeling ecstatic. I craved their conversations, because it had context and base. Every minute spent with them was interesting, exciting and memorable.

I hardly ever read rock star romance novels about the doting fans and what their reactions would be like if they got the opportunity Sabrina got. I don't know about any one else, but I love this representation and progression. Minor characters were unnecessary after the initial meet. Traversing this story with just them and no one else was better than I imagined. This novel didn't even end with much closure, but I don't care. I think it's the perfect ending for them, and I would be lying if I said that I might dread a book two spoiling the chemistry and note we left this story on.

When the realistic moments of a novel stand out, as oppose to the fiction within it all, I admire and commend that. We all know that it's a once in a lifetime opportunity/chance, but we don't feel it throughout.

More About the Author

Emme Rollins is a NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR of New Adult/Mature Young Adult fiction. She's been writing since she could hold a crayon and still chews her pen caps to a mangled plastic mess. She did not, however, eat paste as a kid.

She has two degrees, a bachelor's and a master's, one of which she's still paying for, but neither of which she uses out in the "real world," because when she isn't writing, she spends her time growing an organic garden to feed her husband and children (and far too many rabbits and deer!) where they live on twenty gorgeous forested acres in rural Michigan.

She loves tending her beehives (bees are wonderful pollinators and Hello!? Honey!) and keeping up with her daily yoga practice and going for long walks in the woods with her boxer, Rodeo, who loves chasing squirrels almost as much as Emme loves writing!

Emme loves hearing from fans, so feel free to use the contact page on her site ( to connect with her.
