Meeting Wisdom is full of great 12 Step and AA sayings - some of which I had heard at 12 step meetings before but many of which were new to me. The sayings are organized so that you can use the book in several different ways. In addition to reading it straight through I have found myself opening it up anytime I have a problem and just randomly picking a page to see what saying I get. I also like the index because it is just like "As Bill Sees It" so that you can choose a topic (faith, fear, sponsorship, etc.) and then find all the sayings related to that topic. The book also has a journal section so that you can take it to meetings and jot down your own favorite sayings (though I haven't used it yet) or take notes as you are reading it.

I recommend this book as a way to make your program more fun and to help remember many of the great and useful things that you hear at meetings.

Meeting Wisdom by Brian L. is an impressive compendium of penetrating, inspiring wisdom arising from the experience of attending and participating in 12-step meetings, whether for Alcoholics Anonymous or any number of other addiction recovery 12-step programs. Highly recommended reading, Meeting Wisdom provides a wealth of informed and informative insights into the difficult path to recovery, and what it means to commit to a clean and sober life will hold great value to readers of all backgrounds, and whether they are currently involved in a particular 12-step program or not.
