The worst megaman game ever.,
A Kid's Review
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge (Video Game)
When I saw this game, I was so exicited. All the battle network games have been super fun. You don't do anything in this game. You choose your chips, then watch a battle of pure luck, pressing "R" or "L" when something bad happens. See, no action at all. I highly recommend you do not this game.

A poor member of the Battle Network series,

This game is just a 'filler' for hungry fans of the series while waiting for Mega Man Battle Network 4, and it shows. There's no exploration neither in the 'real world' nor in the 'net, thus no random virus battles; the only purpose of the game is to battle navis in a tournament. While this by itself wouldn't be too bad if it had the same battle structure as the other Battle Network games, this title introduces a new 'chip deck' battle system that randomly selects the chips you can use in each turn from the ones you place in your 'deck', and what's worse, the battle grid no longer allows you to move your character. The player's role in the battle is reduced to pushing a button repeatedly to see how the battle goes, and ocasionally insert one of the 'slot in' chips. The game gets boring rather quickly. You can play with six different characters and navis, but that just changes the sprites shown and some of the story setup, nothing more. And the 'story' itself is just a quick excuse to throw the game together. If you're a fan of the series, you'll probably get this game just to have the complete collection. But if you enjoyed the other Battle Network games and are expecting another good installment that actually contributes something to the story and gives you hours of exploration and fun, plus a battle system that doesn't leave anything in the hands of the game, wait for Battle Network 4.

MEGAMAN BATTLE CHIP CHALLENGE,
A Kid's Review

I own this video game and I like it very much. In one review someone said you can't battle Bass and Gateman. Well you know what you can battle them, because I have done so. Bass and Gateman are in the second part of the game (after you won the first part). I don't know about the other navis (they could be in the free battle areas). I just hope that I get some more Megaman video games for Christmas. Bye.
P.S. I'm older than 12 years old.
