Got this for my 2yr old son and my 3yr old daughter. This is one of the only toys that they will actually sit on the floor and play with for a extended period of time. My son loves to pull it from room to room and clean up is a snap.

I think the recommended ages for this one are off. My son loves the idea of this truck, but becomes incredibly frustrated while pushing it. The handle swings around completely (it's not fixed at the base), so sometimes when he's trying to push the truck, the handle moves, but the truck doesn't. The result is a frustrated, stomping tantrum - over and over again. It's packed up for a few months. We will try it again.

This firetruck has been my son's favorite toy for the past 5 months (he's currently 18 months old). He loves to push it around the house and has just recently begun building towers on it. It has taken a lot of abuse and is still going. We even bought ours at a yard sale, so I have no idea how old it is. It's a great boy toy!!

My son receieved this as a gift for his first birthday (he's almost 14 mos. now) and it has been, by far, his favorite toy. He loves taking the blocks out and putting them back in the firetruck (very popular at this age right now). The ladder really isn't useful for him at this age to push it around (as it folds too easily) but he just hangs on to the sides and pushes. This is also his daddy's favorite toy to play with him as well. He loves to build towers etc. out of the blocks and then our son proceeds to knock them down. He's also starting to learn how to put them together himself recently. I'm ready to purchase a separate set of megablocks so they can build larger "contraptions" with them. The best thing about this toy is that it can keep my son's attention (and his dad's :) for longer than any other of his many toys!

My son got this at age 1, would not stop playing with it for ages, and even now keeps going back to it 2 years later. I only gave it 4 stars because he can't really ride on it, (keeps trying though) and the size choices of mega block pieces inside is very odd. Has mostly single block pieces, when more different sizes would be better. And the pieces don't fit on the ladder. The ladder should have 'outies' to build blocks, plus a second fireman.

Mega Bloks Mega Firetruck

My grandson celebrated his 1st birthday in May.
He's a big boy and loves crawling around pushing his truck.
Has fun with large blocks that he enjoys using to make as much noise as possible. This item has to be durable to stand up to this young man!

I purchased this product for my 18month old grandson. It seems he likes the truck very much and as it has a handle he can walk around pushing the truck. My daughter also seemed happy with the product.
