My son received this for his 2nd Birthday and he just loves it. He can build three different vehicles and Timmy knows which ones he has on and talks back to you once you put on the different vehicles. I feel this is a great toy for children of all ages because my other children play with it too.

My son received this as a birthday gift for his 2nd birthday. He loves it. It is easy to assemble and disassemble for a 2 yr. old. It was such a big hit with him that we purchased it for 3 of friends this holiday season.
It is adorable and each truck talks once assembled. Really cute gift.

My son got Timmy for his 2nd birtday and has not stopped taking it apart and putting it together. This was a great gift for him.

We got this for our son for his second birthday. He loved it but we had problems right away that it didn't recognize when it was the dump truck or fire engine like it was suppose to and would just go off for no reason. Of course we had an awful time trying to sneak it away from our son. We went to the store to get another and the one they had didn't work either. Buy at your own risk.

I bought this truck for the nursery I work in. It gets young kids attention and is fun to play with when it's all put together. It's great for older kids to develop hand eye cordination, and it's fun for all ages to play with the younger kids because that's how younger kids learn. I wanted to buy this product for my grandsons second birthdays, but unfortunately it's out of stock everywhere. I hope it's not discontinued, that would be unfortunate for the children and parents that like to teach their kids how to play.

This truck allows for some great creativity, in that the pieces can fit together in crazy combinations. The sound effects work "like magic" to match the pieces that are on the base. My son got this as a gift when he was barely 2, and he enjoys it a lot. He still gets it out now and then two years later. Get a bin to keep all the pieces in, though. The truck's hats are easy to lose!

I purchased this toy based on the excellent reviews it had here at Amazon, it looked also like a fun toy with educational value. I am very disappointed. For starters, my son finds it very frustrating that the front pieces for eyes, face & hat can only go on in one order. He also has trouble pulling the pieces apart once they are together, and he is very dextrous for his age. Also disappointing is the lack of container to store all the pieces in. Without this, the blocks are loose in my son's toybox and we can never find all the pieces. The packaging could easily be redesigned to hold the pieces. All in all, it is not a toy he can sit and play with without assistance, as I had thought it might be. When he does play with it he enjoys it for about 15 minutes and moves on to something else. We could have done without this toy under our Christmas tree.
