A real crowd pleaser
I bought this for my grandaughter for Christmas. Not only did she love the music and lights but the adults loved the volume control. This is a good buy and I recommend it.

Expected too much
My two preschoolers love to sing. We thought this would be great for them. We have run into a few problems and are disappointed. 1. The microphone cord is extremely short. 2. The microphone sound is tempermental IF you get any sound to go through at all. 3. Ours is hard to turn on and get any music to play. 4. All those blocks make a cluttery...

My two preschoolers love to sing. We thought this would be great for them. We have run into a few problems and are disappointed.1. The microphone cord is extremely short. 2. The microphone sound is tempermental IF you get any sound to go through at all. 3. Ours is hard to turn on and get any music to play. 4. All those blocks make a cluttery mess. My kids leave the jukebox in the toyroom and carry the unconnected microphone around and just walk about singing on their own.

This teaches kids lyrics and melodies of 12 favorite songs. There's lyrics blocks to learn lyrics, too. Kids can also build their own songs with the magic song blocks. There are 2 fun song styles for each song: Traditional, Rock n' roll and Disco. They can build their own renditions of their favorite songs.

My daughter received this last Christmas when she was 2 - she still likes to play with this toy. I do agree that the microphone is way too short and really does not work. But the songs are cute and she likes "building" her own songs with the music blocks.
