This is a great little set and a very good introduction to Mega Brands' Halo Wars product line. The design is pretty simple overall, using a nice assortment of basic bricks rather than specialized, single-use elements. The colors are excellent--really good representations of Halo colors, and frankly it just looks great.

The turret itself features four laser cannons and a seat for the gunner. In addition, the turret swivels and elevates to provide a 360-degree arc of fire--enough to keep even the most stubborn Covenant forces at bay!

My favorite part is that the UNSC Turret includes three Spartan figures, so that this is a good set for starting to build your army! The figures are remarkably detailed and great representations of Spartans.

A fine set from start to finish. I already own three and plan to purchase at least two more.

Excellent value. You can't buy any other set that gives you this much for your dollars.

I thought this would look nice next to the falcon on my desk and I am very satisfied with it, it's authentic looking (I own halo wars) and the detail in the little dudes is pretty amazing. I haven't had any issues with pieces falling off like the other reviewers nor have i used glue, so I can't agree or disagree with their claims, only say I have not had any strife. All in all it's a fun little model, and i'm sure anyone would dig it that has a craving for putting things together:P

I have to first mention that I am a big fan of the Halo Megabloks series! But unfortunately everyone that is familiar with the first series of the Halo Megabloks knows that missing pieces, or cheap looking pieces are all but too common. I was thinking really hard on whether I should buy this one or not. Fortunately I did, and quite frankly! I Loved it, This one is a must have if you really like this series guys, do yourself a favor and add this neat model to your Halo Megabloks collection.

My son was very excited to put this together and play with it. The directions were easy enough and it went together great. The guys that came with it are pretty cool and sturdy too. The biggest problem is once it's together you can't touch it let alone play with it. The guns just fall right off and the side camo pieces pop off it you pick it up. So if you want to sit and stare at it you can but don't try to play with it. I could glue it but doesn't that defeat the purpose of building blocks? I'm pretty disappointed because it looks so cool and just like the game- I just wish it could be played without being glued.

Halo should have been marketed by Lego. There isn't a Lego set that my 9 year old son can't put together. He has sets from almost every series that Lego puts out.

My son is also a Halo fan and we've purchased every Halo Mega Blocks set. Each one sucks. The pieces don't fit well and they all fall apart at the slightest touch. Some of the pieces won't even snap together. The only good thing I can say is that the models look good when they are completed (if possible) but they don't stay intact.

The product is difficult to assemble and falls apart. Megablocks engineering, machining and manufacture is terrible. The pieces fit poorly and the product was a huge disappointment to my son. We have had other megablocks sets (received as gifts) and they are all the same poor quality. I would never buy a megablocks product and I cannot believe this company is still in business.

This was my first Mega Bloks Halo Wars set, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of MB and I like Halo, but I'd heard some pretty bad reviews. Honestly, I bought it to get my hands on the figures - which turned out to be very well done and highly pose-able. Not thrilled with the over-sized shotguns, but I was able to fix that easily with a little mod work. Having bought the thing, I decided I should at least put the turret together and see how it worked - and I was pleasantly surprised. It went together easily with only one minor issue - the side shields are attached early in the build (for no good reason) and get in the way. Naturally, they pop off throughout the build. When attached at the end, they are fairly stable, but will pop off. I put in a little tissue to tighten the clutch and they were rock solid. Same with the guns, which do tend to be a bit loose. In the end, my only real gripe with this set was that there isn't an interface between the figure and the weapon. He sits in the chair and has no handles to grab. If you build it as per the instructions, he can't even touch the control panel. Easy to fix with a little creativity and a few spare bricks, but somewhat annoying. Overall, though, this is a nice model with some excellent figures.

I got this for my brother as a gift. It was hard to locate in the stores. Amazon had the best online price I could find at $29.99 plus shipping. I thought it was worth it. He loves the little Spartan figures with this set of which there are 3. The building was simple enough and solid typical mega blok instruction. I am going to buy him another set soon. This is one of the nice builder sets. These are some other sets that cost less but we like this one especially for the spartan figures and the turret gun thing. He is super happy with it and for as hard as it was to find we thought the price was fair and worth it.

This is a hard to find set and we are not disappointed with it at all. It went together good. I do not know what the other reviewer that gave it a bad review for misleading about only one guy... it clearly shows on the box what it comes with and it has 3 guys who are pictured. It is everything that it shows and it is the same quality of any of the other mega blok so people should know what they are buying. I think that this is great. I like it for the toy mation stop motion I am making.
