Mega Bloks Cat Large Vehicle Dump Truck

We purchased this for our son this Christmas, he just turned one year old and the toy is age appropriate (putting everything in his mouth is also expected at this age). We noticed after 10 minutes chewing/playing with the construction man (who sits in the front seat of the dump truck), his mouth was covered in orange paint chips from the construction man's hat. I am not sure where Megablocks manufactures these toys, many outsource to China. To be on the safe side, we took the construction man away. Otherwise, this is a good set of starter blocks, just disappointed that the paint chipped after 10 minutes of play.

My grandson loves this truck. He pushes it around, carries things in it and enjoys building with the blocks. He occasionally pulls it around with the digger. It seems pretty durable and has survived an 18 month old this far.

Got this as a baby shower present and before I could get it in the door at home my husband had it open and building with the blocks. Now my son 9 months will crawl over to it and start playing. The only thing is that since my son is still young he wants to use it to help him stand, but the toy is not built for that. However both he and my husband LOVE it and play with it daily.

My one year-old grandson absolutely loves this toy. It is well made, great for little ones to push around and load up and is excellent value for money.

I don't know why we even bother getting my son any other toys. He plays with this one for hours every day! He got it for his 1st birthday and now his 2nd birthday is in a couple days. He loves to run all over the house pushing the truck and loading and unloading his toys, books, balls, even clothes when he's "helping" with laundry. This toy is so durable that it slams into walls, furniture, and doors on a daily basis. And you'd never know looking at the truck. My house is in much worse condition because of this truck! haha. The blocks are a nice addition but he barely plays with those. We have since put them in a bin with other blocks and no longer try to keep them with the truck.

Overall, this is the best toy we have ever bought our son. I am sure we will have many more years of fun with it.

Got this for our 18MO son and he loves it. The mega blocks are an added bonus and there are a few places on the truck to build the blocks onto.

The natural thing a little boy wants to do is climb into the back of this truck. There is a warning of course, but tots can't read. So it requires constant vigilance by guardian.
The other problem is the scoop is hard and awkward to use. It keeps flopping around during play also.
Positively, my grandson loves it at 17 months. I am sure it will be great fun in the backyard this summer.

We got this for our nephew for his first birthday. He immediately started pushing it around with a huge grin on his face. It was the perfect gift. the truck seems very durable and should withstand him beating on it over the years.

I just got this for my 13 month old and he loves it! I wanted to try the blocks and see if he would like them, without buying a huge bag of blocks that would be all over the house. I know he loves trucks so this was a great option. He pushes it around the house and takes the blocks in and out. He has figured out how to put the blocks together (not quite building stuff yet..)and so far really seems to take to this toy.

This is perfect as a first truck. Everything physically about this truck is great, the only problem I had was that the amazon description listed it as including WAY more blocks than I received with it. I then called to order a replacement and they sent me the same amount of blocks again! Luckily I hadn't sent the other box back yet, so I called to let customer service know that I was removing the appropriate amount of blocks from the first truck to add to the second truck. It seems as though they dont have an accurate description and it only made it more frustrating when the person on the phone barely spoke english. I was tempted to hold all of the blocks hostage to make up for the trouble, but decided to call it a wash and let it go. I wish customer service was staffed by more english speaking and articulate people.
