Mega Bloks Lil' School Bus

I bought this toy for my (then) 18 month old daughter because she had a whole bin of the matching blocks. From the get-go, she never took interest. The little people that came with it are lost - probably residing in the same place as those mysterious missing socks. Here we are a year later and this toy has still never once been used with the blocks. On occasion it will taxi an elite force of dinosaurs and Fisher Price little people with Elmo as the ring leader, but for the most part this toy is largely ignored.

It's not very sturdy, a child standing on it can probably break it (I notice now, looking at it, that there's a small "do not let child stand on this" icon underneath; good luck with that one). The wheels are sturdy, but not very high quality. The pegs inside for the blocks to fit are so spaced out that obviously the only things meant to go on them are the lonely and unyielding megablock people. The bus itself is not decorated with anything more than a "stop sign" sticker - it's not interesting, not stimulating, and not going on my "recommended" list.

What child doesn't like school buses? My daughter likes to pretend going to school with this toy. It is a great building toy. I like that the blocks store inside.

Our daughter is 2 and we have had this for several months. She LOVES school buses, so this was a perfect toy for her. She does not use it as "blocks" just as a toy bus to drive.

The pieces don't stay together very well. My 3yr son got frustrated after a while and kept asking me to help him put them on. We ended up buy the Lego Duplo for him and he loves it.

This is an okay toy. My daughter loves blocks and car so we thought she would enjoy this, but in the end it was a little smaller then expected. When you can get a larger version for another store for 4.00 more, it really isn't worth it.

My ten month old loves this toy even though he hasn't figure out how to build with the Mega Bloks yet. He loves to push the Lil'Wagon School Bus around and watch the wheels turn.

My 2 year old loves to push this bus around the house. The blocks seems a little to big to fit into the bus, and there is not enough spaces on the bus roof for stacking blocks. But a great toy for the price.
