The track was easy as pie to put together, which was a pleasant change from most other similar playsets! The cars themselves presented more of a challenge...the pieces are very small and difficult for little fingers to handle and put together, resulting in my kids quickly getting frustrated and leaving me to finish assembling the cars. Once that task was complete (about 45 minutes later) my kids had lots of fun racing each other. The cars held up well, save the occasional piece popping off. All in all a great toy, and since I got this on clearance, I'm really happy with the value for the money!
