This was a very good bargin, excellent price and fun toy. Very well made, intertaining to put together. My father enjoys putting the mega bloks together. He is 72 years old, not really able to do puzzle anymore, he really enjoys making these projects. I work for a hospital, and deal with the EMT and police and Firemen. This was a cute souvenior to have. Thanks
A very satified customer.

We recently flew to Thailand and my son had so much fun with these toys. He could easily put them into the case they came in and go (when we were making transfers). They came in and out of the case dozens of times and transformed into many things. We had many people in Korea and Japan stop in the airports as he built and enjoy his creations.

This is another neat blocks set from Megablocks! The pieces are not for very small children though. As per the manufacturer's recommendation, they are for 7+ year old kids who can handle the sets well. The car when complete is about finger length and the fire truck is about palm length. but they look and play well.

The pieces are smaller than traditional legos and it does require focus on the kid's part. The directions are wonderfully illustrated and simple to follow, in a full color booklet. My son did it with a little supervision on the first vehicle and then he was off to the races. Some of the smaller parts can be very difficult because everything fits so tightly, but the end result is an extremely durable vehicle. Consequently, the vehicles have been crashed over and over and not a single piece has come apart. He has already started a Christmas list for next year, leading off with "more Nano's!".

I am six years old and this toy was not too difficult for me. It is different from Legos because it is smaller but the pieces still fit together easily. The tool you use to make the police car and ambulance drive really works well. They go about ten feet or more. I also like the piece with the lights and siren on it. It can go on any of the vehicles. This is a great toy.

This was a terrible toy. Someone bought this as a birthday gift for my seven-year-old son. Naturally, my ex-wife didn't want to bother with all the pieces so she gave the headache to me.
The pieces were microscopic, which made it hard enough to put together. On top of that, the pieces don't fit as well as good ol' Legos. I realize that it's supposed to be "nano," but I think I lost a couple of pieces under my fingernails. All 500+ pieces come in one big bag. So we spent most of our time hunting for pieces that were literally an eigth of an inch small. I actually spent several hours putting together the Mega Bloks Teenage Mutant Ninja Lair last Christmas. I thought that was awful until I got to this one. (Go and read the reviews that others wrote for that one). Anyone who writes anything positive about this toy is working for the company. The only positive that I've encountered in the Mega Bloks sets is that none of the pieces are missing. But I'd honestly welcome that if got me finished quicker. |
