My child was overjoyed when he received the toy. He had a great time putting it together and I felt it was educational to him to find the parts and follow the directions to put together. The only problem we had was there were some pcs. missing so we had to borrow those missing pcs. from another toy they have.

My son had this set and another, ememgency vehicles, on our latest trip to Thailand. What a lifesaver. Eventhough he had very little sleep on this 24 hour trip, he stayed happy as he built one creation after another. Pieces didn't get lost because of the cases and he had tons of fun! Great toy!

We got this for our very bright 6 year old son. He needed a little supervision on the first vehicle and occasionally needed help tightening up the smaller pieces, but otherwise he did it. The smaller, flatter pieces can be difficult to put on because these fit so very tightly, but it's worth it because the end product is extremely durable. His 3 brothers love it and the younger one continues to crash the police car into the wall and it still hasn't come apart...unlike our lego sets that come apart just when looking them over. This mother of 4 boys highly recommends it, as does my son who has already started next year's Christmas list with Nano's.

My boys love this Mega Bloks set. They play with it all the time.
