My son, 5, got this from Santa Claus. It says 6+ on the box. It was pretty easy to put together and he has no trouble playing with it. The shark is fun and the Lego people that come with the set fit in its mouth. My son especially loves the shark. The raft comes apart when the shark ''attacks'' it easily and goes back together easily, too.

I like Shark Attack because of the harpoon. I also liked the huge spear on the main deck. I also like how the shark can rip the ship in half.Detlef Nelson, Age 11, Seattle, Washington

My 5 yr old is OBSESSED with this toy. The toy is very detailed and beautifully made. There are many small parts, which is great for fine motor skills development. The harpoon works really well! Overall the toy encourages creative play and use of imagination. A terrific toy.
