I'm not a crafty person and I usually dread these kind of toys. This is surprisingly simple! You just line up the tray, and press the button twice! The only thing that's a pain is placing the sequin in the tray face down, but I got the hang of it after a while. We've done a pair of pants so far. I think I got my money's worth, and some ($5.99).
