Our 9 month old received this for Christmas & he loves it. He likes pushing it around, putting items into the bucket & putting bloks onto the truck. We love it!

I am sure little boys would love this dump truck, but so does my two-year-old daughter, who chose it as her "you get to pick out one thing" birthday gift. It offers a lot of play variety: you can build with the blocks, drive the truck around, or give stuffed animals rides in the bed of the truck. The blocks stack together with each other and on the "posts" that stand up behind the cab. The driver is removable and can also be stacked on the blocks. It would be possible to build an entire tower on the truck itself and drive around with it. The blocks are nicely rounded and safe -- kind of like the big Duplos for the very youngest children. The truck is very sturdy, too: it drives and dumps nicely, with seemingly no danger of the dumping part falling off, and is very easy for little ones to control and speed around with. I can see this being part of our toy fleet for several years.
