"GLA (gamma linolenic acid) is a fatty acid used by every cell in the body to product soothing PGE1 prostaglandins (intracellular hormone-like messengers). Many dietary and lifestyle factors can seriously reduce the body's GLA production. Mega-GLA 240 is one of the richest available sources of GLA, yielding many times the GLA content of standard primrose oil softgels.
