We ordered the Mega Mat to protect our bed from one of our dogs. Due to spina bifada, she often has some incontinence. We found that we were changing our bedding more often than we wanted. This has been a tremendous help.
The only problem I found is that it tends to have small rips in the plastic side after washing (acc. to the directions given). Otherwise, it would be a perfect, 5 Star item!

I received two of these for Christmas last year and just loved them. My husband and I used them for our first picnic last week and they were great. Waterproof and easy to carry, but not so easy to re-fold without getting dirty. I took them home and washed them for the first time: Cold water, delicate cycle, according to directions. They both fell apart! I am so disappointed. I expected many years of use out of them and got one picnic instead!

Update: 7/14/10 I spoke to a lady at Picnic Plus today in the hopes that they would replace these two blankets. She told me it was "unfortunate" that their products fell apart on the first wash but there was nothing she could do about it. I told her that for more than $80, I expected more than one use. She said she had never had any complaints about the quality of these blankets before. I advised her to read some of these reviews. In the process of trying to reach Picnic Plus, I also spoke to Picnic Time and they have a really great customer service department. They also stand behind their products. I just purchased this a couple of weeks ago and have already used it for 2 outdoor concerts and fireworks and a movie under the stars night at our local park. The mat is a nice big size and very comfortable. I especially love the completely waterproof lining underneath. You can sit on it and never know that the ground is damp. It folds up easily, and stays folded with the velcro. I've already had 2 people inquire about where I bought it.
