I've had this lantern for many years and it works great. I usually don't write reviews for products, but this product is worth my time to write a review. Light weight, high durability, 3 light settings. Love it Love it!! I'm buying two more for night lights.
It may not provide as brightness as you expect for camping, but it works for small tents. It has recharger comes along as well as you can charge the battery with manual crank handle.

I normally don't write too many reviews, this is one of the few i have written on amazon, however i felt i should write this given that no one buy this based on the idea of it being super brite. From the first time i cranked it up for a minute or so and turned it on it was far from super bright. In fact it was really dim unless you are cranking it while it is on. with just one light on it is fairly bright, though the LED's on it as small. With three of them on it goes to a somewhat dim state, and with all nine on it goes to such a dim state (unless being cranked continuously) that it barely provides enough light to allow you to see at all more than a foot away from it. It is good to have if you are in an emergency in the dark somewhere and it is good to be able to charge it up with a crank or by a dc cigarette lighter socket but as i said the brightness is much to be desired.

I bought 4 of these to use as night lights or play with. My kids love it. I don't have to think about them forgetting to turn it off and wasting electricity or batteries. I think the single light setting is perfect as a night light, and all 9 lights makes a very good lantern. We usually crank it a good 2 minutes. The single light will last for hours, but having all 9 LEDs on definitely grows dim much quicker. Great for camping or emergencies. Best part is no dead batteries!
